We know that the teacher and student collaboration for a joint session can play a role in the development of an efficient education system. In such a case the use of school lms can be effective as well. We see that even though most teachers, as well as school administrators, agree that teacher collaboration leads to improved outcomes for both teachers as well as students, many schools are still not providing enough time for teachers to work together during school hours at the same time. Of course, we know that there are many challenges in building a master schedule that gives teachers this time, we see that there is also a growing body of research showing the significant benefits of facilitating effective collaboration at the same time. We are aware that teacher collaboration is an important element for school improvement across the nation, as well as even more important when it comes to implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Support at the same time. And this is certainly worth taking a deeper dive as we have seen. We are aware that if teachers meet in teams regularly, in such a case they can facilitate the exchange of ideas and work together. We see that while one teacher may plan one unit and gather materials, another can take the following unit. We are aware that time is a teacher’s most valuable resource, so we know that it is anything that helps improve efficiency is a win as well. We see that they can better use data to guide decision-making as well. We know that data should always be a part of teacher meetings as well. We are however aware that when analyzing data as a team, trends can be identified as well as discussed at a deeper level. We know that rather than just looking at their individual students’ data, teachers can be looking at grade-level and school-level data, and even comparing their school data to their district as well as to others using a nationally-normed assessment at the same time. We see that teachers who are working together realize that they all have a responsibility to their students as well. We see that this is especially true for cross-curricular collaboration as well. We know that when English and History teachers work together, for example, in such a case they can share units and use each other’s areas of expertise as well as skills to guide students to a higher level of rigor. We see that they can also learn new things about their students from other educators that impact their ability to connect with as well as support their students. We see that the intentional framework that, at its heart, focuses on growth through collaboration as well as multi-faceted approaches to student support by integrating academic, behavioral as well as social-emotional instructions. We know that the framework, teachers as well as support staff are expected to collaborate to analyze student data and make action plans. We know that those in need of additional support are identified, and interventions are planned, provided, and monitored as well. We know that as is often the case if we are knowing that something works as well as can have a great impact is not enough to just simply make it happen. We know that there are many models for building teacher collaboration, that includes professional learning communities, grade-level teams, as well as cross-curricular teams too. We know that the core instruction teachers, interventionists, as well as school staff, and more, need to share information and insights that enable each of them to understand as well as support their students holistically. We know that if teachers are not able to meet and/or collaborate in a way that allows that flow of information, then it is very hard to be true to the technological approach as well. We see that in such a case the School learning management system can be of great help as well. This can help in the easy collaboration of the students as well. We know that collaboration between teachers contributes to school improvement as well as student success when it’s done right. Thankfully we see that technology has made collaboration easier and much more streamlined as well.
